🚨 Aitana Bonmatí given all-clear after recovering from viral meningitis

Aitana Bonmatí has already been discharged from the hospital after being diagnosed with viral meningitis last week. The FC Barcelona footballer and key player for the Spanish women's national team was admitted last Friday after presenting a persistent fever that had not subsided since the previous day.

According to the Royal Spanish Football Federation, Bonmatí is recovered and will be able to rejoin the team's dynamic in the coming days. The midfielder did not travel with the rest of the team last Sunday, as her health required her to be kept under medical observation.

The technical staff of the national team, led by Montse Tomé, has closely followed Bonmatí's evolution. The federation keeps open the possibility that she may be part of the final call-up for the 2025 Women's Euro, whose first match is scheduled for July 3 against Portugal.
