2025 NFL Season: Week 2 late games open thread

We’ve not exactly got a lot of options in this 1 pm window, but the biggie is the Super Bowl rematch between the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs. FOX has made the 1:25 pm slot a standalone game so the whole nation can tune in and see if Jalen Carter will spit on anyone else. Patrick Mahomes has never been two games under .500 in his entire Chiefs career, but nothing lasts forever. We know the Eagles hammered the Chiefs in the Super Bowl but both rosters have changed enough that we cannot pretend it’s the same matchup, so here’s to it being a good game worth the hype.

CBS has the Carolina Panthers at Arizona Cardinals, as well as the Denver Broncos at Indianapolis Colts. In other words, if you’re not the Panthers, you’ve won a game at this point.
