10-1, 9-0, 8-0... the biggest thrashings in Brasileirão history

Flamengo's 8x0 win over Vitória on Monday was the biggest rout in the history of the Brasileirão's points race.

But looking at the entire history of the competition, two routs were even more significant than Flamengo's:

- Corinthians 10 x 1 Tiradentes-PI, in 1983

- Vasco 9 x 0 Tuna Luso, in 1984

These are the only two games with a score difference of nine goals, according to the survey by Noite de Copa.

Next up are six 8x0 victories and 15 scores with a seven-goal difference.
